Gift Ideas for Teens
Sometimes it's difficult to know what to buy a pre-teen or teenager. Whether they're yours or the children of friends, teens aren't always easy to buy for. Times and teenagers change so quickly that gifts that might have been appreciated a few years ago might be looked on in disdain today.
Gift certificates, gift cards, or cash would be the best idea for this age group on your gift giving list. If you attempt to buy them music, they may not like the artist or may already have that particular album. The clothes you pick out may not be their personal style. At this age, tastes change almost as often as they change their clothes.
Listen to what they're saying for possible hints about what they would like to receive. Maybe their IPod is out-of-date; buy them a new and better one. If they complain because their favourite CD is worn out, find out which one it is and replace it. You may also need to become a detective of sorts to find out what they really want. Ask their friends for suggestions.
